| [slm] I would like to purchase this for the library... Its $300, new! Anyone have a set collecting dust and want to sell it, donate it? Apparently the school in Troy recommended it to our Imam. |

| [slm] I just ran this program and it is way overpriced at $329. The program seems kinda retarded. It shows a bunch of pictures, has some audio and you make the proper selection. I didn't see any grammar lessons yet, but I'm still playing around with it. From what I can tell it doesn't have much audio. It also requires that the student know the arabic alphabet before preceding. There are a couple of Arabic books/audios I'm planning on purchasing in the next month or two that will be released in September (one has 35 hours of audio, and is reasonably priced at $50). Pilsmeur makes a fantastic audio series but unfortunately its not fusha, its some weird dialects (egyptian and the other is syrian). Once they make a fusha dialect that would be the set to buy. |
