Fajr at your Masjid?

salam alaikum

this is NOT a fiqh question, rather I am just wondering what Fajr is like at your guys
other masaajid. do any of the masaajid anyone goes to make the two adhaans of Fajr or do
they just make one at the time, with or without tathweeb (saying salah better than sleep).

the reason i ask is that in my old home they would have the first adhaan actually made in
the masjid with tathweeb before the salah time and then when the actual salah time came
then they would make the second without tathweeb. i have now moved to a new community and
here they just make one adhaan at the salah time with tathweeb.

how do the masjids where the rest of you are at do it? please this is not a fiqh question
just curious how your experiences are elswhere!

wasalam alaikum

[slm] IN all the masajid I have said Fajr in, and that is not a lot of them, they say:

the first adhaan with tathweeb before the salah time,

and the second is not adhan, but iqamah just when we stand up for the salah, and that does not include the tathweeb.

The iqamah is said before every salah, not just Fajr.

There are two types of adhans, the one said by Bilal (ra) and the other said by abu Mahdhoora (ra).

The iqamah should correspond with the adhan, accept for the tathweeb, and includes, as you know, the statement "The Salah is raedy", my translation of "Qad QaamatisSalah".

In our mosque, they do two.. the first one with the 'assalatu khayru min annawm' and the second one without it.  But I think when time is short and no one is there early enough they do just one i can't remember if its with or without.

BTW bro I believe either way is permissible so I hope you can chill out be happy with either of the ways.
