Love Poem

Dear heart, you are so unreasonable!
First you fall in love,
then worry about your life.
You rob and steal,
then worry about the law.
You profess to be in love,
Yet still worry about what people say…

Through love,
the bitter becomes sweet
throughlove,
copper becomes gold
through love,
dregs become clear
through love,
pains become healing
through love,
the dead become living
through love,
the king becomes a slave

*The Intellectual is Always Showing Off

The intellectual is always showing off,

the lover is always getting lost.

The intellectual runs away.

afraid of drowning;

the whole business of love

is to drown in the sea.

Intellectuals plan their repose;

lovers are ashamed to rest.

The lover is always alone.

even surrounded by people;

like water and oil, he remains apart.

The man who goes to the trouble

of giving advice to a lover

get nothing. He's mocked by passion.

Love is like musk. It attracts attention.

Love is a tree, and the lovers are its shade.

Let the lover be disgraceful, crazy, absent-minded.
Someone sober will worry about events going badly.
Let the lover be.....

The back of hope
is bent by separation,
the hands of longing
tied by cruelty
but the lover never despairs.
for a committed heart
everything is possible

Never, O wolf, play at being a fox,
performing service in order to gain power;
rush into the fire like a moth:
don't hoard service, play for love!

Love is ...

Bismillahi 'r-rahmani 'r-raheem

What is love? Love means to give up everything for the sake of human beings. Do you want more details? You know the details inside yourself. Everyone knows when he loves someone for the sake of God, for the sake of the Prophet (PBUH), for the sake of masters: that is when he or she gives everything. If a man loves a woman and she asks him to bring her the sky, he will try to find a rocket to take him to the sky and try to bring the sky to her. If she tells him to bring her a diamond, he will try to buy her the best diamond that money can buy. Is this not true? If you love your Lord, it means you have to love every one of His creations and try to help them as much as possible.

Here is a response to Kabbani that over 130 Muslim organizations signed (including ISNA and CAIR) condemning Kabbani's actions:
http://www.musalman.com/islamnews/kabbani.html

Mr. Kabbani even promoted and generalized an allegation that Muslim women in Europe "who are during the day, covered from top to bottom and, during the night, have dates. They are dating high officials in many countries around the world to take the information from them and to give it to the extremists."

also Mr. Kabbani Alleged that the "ideology of extremism has been spread to eighty percent of the [American] Muslim population." Having also stated that "extremists" gained control of American mosques through elections, Mr. Kabbani further strengthens the impression that the Muslim community as a whole is extremist.

This is how much love that Mr. Kabbani shows to the creation.  Labeling Muslim women in Europe as prostitutes and labeling the overwhelming majority of American Muslims as extremists.

There are also serious problems with the beliefs that Mr. Kabbani has,, may Allah (SWT) guide him.

[slm] Dear Brother,

I honestly do not listen to what everyone says, and its a known fact that we have no control over of what comes out of people's mouth (no matter how good one may be) so I try to take the good and leave the bad, I'd suggest you to do the same as well insha'Allah .

wasalaam.

Those are not the words that came out of other people's mouths (the over 130 Muslim organizations in the United States), but rather they included the words that came out of Mr. Kabbani himself, and though his websites have been shutdown, his words and messages are spread around.  I read for myself on his website several years ago how he attacked Muslims.  To profess love for all of creation and then attack them and call them names, extremists, and prostitutes is hypocrisy.

Love: The Light of the Prophet

Bismillahi 'r-rahmani 'r-raheem

Where does all this love come from? Why is it coming? The answer is nothing but He. He brings it to us. That love that He gives us is our life support system and He is the Owner of it. Ya Muqallibal qulubi wal absar! (O Turner of hearts and eyes!) The heart is a centrifugal organ. Continuously generating emotions and energy out, not just to the senses of our bodies but out to all that our senses extend to: to the touch of a loved one, to the wail of an infant, to the sound of a hum, to the taste of a fruit. All connected to the heart. That's where we are.

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: "Truly in the body there is a morsel of flesh, which, if it be whole, all the body is whole, and which, if it is diseased, all of it is diseased. truly, it is the heart."

The hearts that grasp one another come together for the love of the beloved one, Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him, uniting together like a binding chain ever illuminating nur ala nur (light upon light).

The next time you wonder why you love someone, turn your hearts towards the Causer of the Causes, and acknowledge that it is that love; that which is light, which He created from the very beginning, that light of Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wassalam.

LOVE IS THE MASTER

Love is the One who masters all things;
I am mastered totally by Love.
By my passion of love for Love
I have ground sweet as sugar.
O furious Wind, I am only a straw before you;
How could I know where I will be blown next?
Whoever claims to have made a pact with Destiny
Reveals himself a liar and a fool;
What is any of us but a straw in a storm?
How could anyone make a pact with a hurricane?
God is working everywhere his massive Resurrection;
How can we pretend to act on our own?
In the hand of Love I am like a cat in a sack;
Sometimes Love hoists me into the air,
Sometimes Love flings me into the air,
Love swings me round and round His head;
I have no peace, in this world or any other.
The lovers of God have fallen in a furious river;
They have surrendered themselves to Love's commands.
Like mill wheels they turn, day and night, day and night,
Constantly turning and turning, and crying out.
