| Assalaam aleikum, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Carol, and I took shahada in April this year. I live in a pretty rural area without many brothers or sisters in Islam around me, so I am hoping to meet new friends here. I am a librarian who works with children and their families, a job I enjoy a lot. I am still learning so much about Islam, so if I make any mistakes in what I write, please forgive me and let me know so I can learn. Thank you for allowing me to join your community.
