ur not the kashif on the board's wife are u??

well i say you must go to the doctor.. not only to find out for sure, but there are a lot of things they will have to check, and if you have deficiencies in anything it is important for them to fix that so your baby develops properly. also the doctor is the only one that can prescribe the neo-natal vitamins and other things you need...

it is also possible that something else is the problem and the quicker you go and get it fixed/seen to the better, don't worry inshaAllah everything will come out right.

so if everyone is busy find a friend, a relative anyone.. or just go yourself.. you'll be fine and remember you're doing it for your future child inshaAllah

i echo what jannah just said.

go to the doctor.
go to the doctor.
go to the doctor.

that's all the advice that you should get from internet whether it is from forum board or website. you will not and CANNOT get proper diagnosis by posting it on internet.

i repeat again.

go to the doctor. pregnancy (or not) is not something that can be taken lightly.

Assalam Alaikum,

It’s quite normal to feel that way sis, just make sure you see a doctor -- its better to be safe than sorry (in sha Allah everything will be OK)

wassalaam.

[slm] Sis zawjatukashif,

Yes, go to the doctor, go to the doctor, go to the doctor.  It will ease your mind rather engage it in worry!  Worrying is not helpful whether you pregnant or not.

You might also get to know what the problem is first hand if there is a problem and get advice on corrective measures.  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.

Go alone if you can't find even a friend.  AGAIN, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.

Take care of yourself, Sis.  Be strong.

Wishing you all the best.

Errr well wanting to pass water every few seconds was definitely my first sign of pg. I did get cramps for about a week but that was just implantation pains (or something), however if you are getting crampy feelings you need to get them checked out by a professional just to check everything is OK.

You do realise that a false negative is perfectly possible, so you could (and it really does sound like you are) be pg.

Agree with the others go to the doctor ASAP. If members of your family are too busy take a friend with you (did you err never go to sleepovers and make really close friends ;)).
All the doctor will do is ask questions relating to your last period ie when was it, and (in the UK) they take a urine sample...here please pee in this test tube ::). I think in the states they take a blood sample.

Congratulations if you are...and take advantage of everyone pandering to your every whim.

I didn’t heed the recommendation – but I have to say why you are reluctant to visit the doctor is hard to fathom.

Over the counter pregnancy test are not absolutely accurate – they may read false negative, meaning they indicate you are not pregnant when in fact you are. This can be for many reasons which we don’t really need to get into, you just need to be aware of this fact. Thus you MAY be pregnant.

Secondly it seems as though you suspect you might be pregnant and are experiencing symptoms not generally associated with such as early point – this may be normal (for yourself) or it might be signs and symptoms of something serious. The life of your potential child or certainly yourself might be at risk – what if the ovum implanted into your fallopian tube (an ectopic pregnancy) this can be fatal (to yourself)! A myriad of other things might be wrong – many of which are far less serious.

Finally if you are prego – then you need to be aware of this in order that you take care of yourself well in terms of diet, exercise, sleep, nutrition, regular check-ups, etc... Ramadan begins in a little while and you’ll need to decide if fasting is something you are going to do – if you are prego and there are already complications you might want to seriously consider the potential affects of fasting.

So yea again – go to the doctor, go to the doctor, go to the doctor!
It's not a big deal - bring a friend if you really need to, but the bottom line is just do it!
