As Salam Alaikum, I am thinking about attending an Islamic University such as Al Azhar in Cairo but need information.  Al Azhar's website is not helpful.  If anybody could please help me, I would greatly appreciate it, jazakallah khair.  Some of my questions are: Do I need a high school diploma from the U.S. (since I'm from the US) to attend Al Azhar? What are the normal fees per year or month? What is the possibility of being accepted into the university, since it is so big? Also, can anybody give me names of any other good Islamic Universities in Africa or the US, preferrably ones that don't require high school diploma.
