| he he, excellent. do you know that bit in Marilyn French's 'The Women's Room' where Mira and her husband divorce? In the settlement she makes some calls to different agencies and finally provides a bill for all the work she's done: laundry, cooking, cleaning, childcare, counsellor, prostitute etc etc. He didn't pay it, of course. Obviously women work. And if they work for the good of the greater community, then that's even better. |
