| slm, anyone have any ideas for an eid party for the kids? i want to organize something here along the lines of face painting, baloons etc.. but i'm looking for some games and things... anyone have any cool ideas of fun stuff to do with them?? |

| [slm] The MCA does a whole load of things. They rent lots of games, as well as a couple of astro jumps. They rent a cotton candy and popcorn machine for the day as well. Sometimes they have face painting, and henna booths. I also remember they had some one do those balloons where the ballons are twisted into different shapes. I'm usually stuck with the regular balloons and stringing them.... :) [slm] |

| Kids love pinatas. Relay race kind of games Bean Bag Throw Hot potato Pin the tale on the came/goat Pop the balloon game Ring toss Card cames Duck pond Lollipop stick game Basketball throw Baseball/jug throw Goldfish bowl |

| [slm] Jannah, why don't you call it the EID MOO-Barak Carnival ??? That way you could have pin the tail on the cow? Over here this one masjid hires some company and they bring out ponies, face painting, dart throwing, and some other carnival type games. You could rent a cotton candy machine, and a bounce house. |

| POP the Balloon- 2 versions 1. a board filled with baloons. People throw darts at them. 2. Basket of baloons. Person takes one races to the other end, pops it by sitting on it. then races back and tags the next person to run and pop. Duck pond Get a bunch of rubber duckies, and a basin of water. Mark the bottom of the duck with a permanent marker saying winner or try again. Kid gets one try per ticket. Lollipop Same thing as duck pond. Take a container full of sand or a styrofoam ball. Mark the ends of the stick with a marker , on the winner lollipops, stick them in the sand or styrofoam. Kid picks. Goldfish bowl. On a table have a bunch of goldfish , one in each bowl. Place a saucer over the bowl. From a distance have kids throw a coin. If it lands and stays the fish is theirs!
