Plz note that Hajj and Umrah agencies of arabs are normally fraudulent as they
break several laws of hajj ministry regarding exceeding hajj quotas. They get hajj visa
for women without mehrum with frauds and falsifying documents. Arab / egyptian agencies
group leaders of Hajj and Ramadan are corrupt men and they kidnap, abuse, slander, abuse,
buy honor of single women that travel for hajj or Umrah. Agency egyptian men are american
and canadian agency men that are egyptian. They lie to customers and sell religion to
cheat on females. Arab agencies owner cover their corrupt group leaders by the aid of other
group leaders. They are daring, predators of women and they lie to customers and society.

Umm looks like you've had a bad experience, care to tell us the name of the agency you are talking about.  Because you really can't generalize like that. There are alot of good reputable agencies that don't defraud/steal/lie/sell  you to slavery??!! etc...

Definitely only go with a reputable Hajj or Umrah agency.

Asalaamu Alaikum ;-)

The best way to choose an agency is simply to ask those who have been before and compare with others from other agencies.

There are so many variables nowadays when it comes to Hajj packages that it is actually very difficult to get a package that will be 100% right for you.

The other thing to bear in mind is that the really good agencies tend to fill a lot their quotas even before Ramadhan so if you’re serious about going to Hajj you really have to plan a long way in advance.

slm,

Yeah definitely ask people. They can tell you if the group was a good experience or not.  Even with the same group the experiences can differ and quality can go up and down, but you can still find out who is reputable and who is not. And you can also find out what to ask for when you call the agency and how to get through the whole experience hassle free (very unlikely cause i've yet to find someone who had no problems at all).

I think Hajj is a major experience in a person's life and they should take the extra time to do the research and maybe even pay the extra money to go with a good agency that has good scholars and accomodations.  That's just me. I know other people who are like just go and it doesn't matter, cause there's ppl there that sleep on the streets etc etc, but to be honest we're very spoiled and most of us haven't ever been out of the US/UK/Canada so jumping from that to a developing country is very difficult. No one has to go the plush expensive route, but just be moderate and know what you can handle.
