Crash, deals with the climate
of racial prejudice and fear in
post-September 11,
it is an unflinching no-holds-barred
look at the complex issue of racism in America.
The action takes place in overlapping stories
in Los Angeles.Anger bubbles just beneath
the surface of each character as
the line between good and bad blurs.
Crash leaves everybody who
sees it with a whole lot to think about.

wassalaam.

salam,

I saw it. Rather unwillingly but did see it. It has some major language and some very graphic scenes. If I knew i probably wouldn't have seen it or waited for it on TV or something when they censor it a lot.  I think it's a very well planned, well plotted movie that covers a lot of issues.  Again they made the Muslim guy the crazy one... but they showed his motivation and stuff so not sure if that is better or not.  I liked the dealing of racial issues and the intertwining of characters. I like that the movie makes you uncomfortable because of all of the issues, but it is very distrurbing because of all the violence and other issues it explores. *spoiler* The scene of the woman in the car crash under the car I almost died a little there. *spoiler* I didn't catch some of the subplots but don't think I can go through watching it again. So I wouldn't recommend it for any Muslims because of the language, graphic violence/sexual scenes. I'd recommend it for nonMuslims who are used to movies of that nature because it has a good message in the end?

[slm] Well, I cannot watch a movie more than once lol and I’m very picky on choosing one as well.

However, at first I was a bit hesitant of posting this movie here, but then again I actually did like this movie (which is now available on DVD by the way) Not to mention the brilliant cast, but because it addresses many important issues, furthermore there is only one love scene on there I believe

Anyhow, I would definitely recommend it to the adult Muslim audience and the Non-Muslims of course.

And Allah Subhana wa Tala knows best.

wassalaam.
