| I am a Christian man, I live in Southern California and I've just read about the beheading of 3 teenage girls buy Muslims and for the life of me, I just cannot understand how the Muslims in the world can accept this. How can you talk about love and the love of God and at the same time accept this and allow for anyone to say that this is religious and in the name of "Allah", I don't think that your God or my God is a hateful God. How can the killing of 3 teenage girls be something that anyone in the history of mankind be proud of? How can you and your Muslim friends and family accept this. This is one more thing that sets the Muslim people from the rest of the world, this is one more thing to justify to the rest of the world that Muslim people are subhuman. I don't think that this is the message that you want anyone to have of you and your family. I remember when I was 18 years old, I was in the Marines, ready to go to Viet Nam, I remember the names that we heard for the Viet Cong, gooks, etc, these were names that we were using in order to dehumanized these people, this was so that we would have no proble in killing them, this is now what is happening, the Muslim world is allowing these people that commit these crimes to dehumanized the Muslim people in the rest of the worlds eyes. Does two wrongs make a right? How can anyone justify this crime? Are Muslim animals and should they be treated as animals, if you think not, then you must not act like an animal. I know that many people say that this is a reaction to other events, what did these 3 girls do?? If the people that did this terrible crime, were victims themselves and they hated it and were hurt by it, do they not think that other people will feel the same hurt? This is the shame of the human race and to think that this is done in the name of Allah. I think that someone should ask Allah if this is what he wants, I wonder if Mohammand would be proud of the killing of 3 teenage girls? I wonder if this is a proud and bright day in the history of the Muslim people. Luis |

| [slm] Well Luis, why the hate, indeed! Why do you automatically assume that Muslims have condoned this murder? From these far-off lands, we do not have enough information. Our news comes filtered through the news and agencies of the West. Quite often, the news has later turned out to be fake. If the killings of these girls has been done by Muslims, no one here on this board has condoned it. If there is a murder of a small time actress in California, and she happened to be a Wiccan, would you automatically write that to murder by Southern Baptists? |
